Default Novarossi NS12

Apparently, this will come with adjustable carb, which maybe a better deal than the V12..

Default Nova

I'm glad to see that Novarossi is moving on quickly from that pitiful offering of the S3. Really hope they lift their game so they don't completely tarnish their name.

pitiful??!!

the s3 is/was/still is a very good engine! i used to race one before getting a jp s3 for the states. it was a very very reliable engine and ran perfect from the start of a final to the end.

you'de think they've reached a tuning climax with these engines... when are they gonna start playing with ceramic pistons and all of that other high temp resistant stuff.

Default S3

Your right the S3's are good..... for a couple of race meets and then they loose all comp an go all bad. This has happened to atleast three people at our club let alone the first couple of dud batches of them with bad orings. Nova went too sick with the timing and took too much out the crankshaft. We had one guy break the crankshaft clean in half sent it back to nova they fixed it but then in a couple of weeks it lost all bottom end and this is also what happened to me JP S3. Mine had heaps of power initially it was spinning the tyres up in second gear! Also Ceramic piston and liner is good but ur gauranteed to go through atleast one set of bearings in the motor.

With the NS12 S5 supposedly putting out 1.6HP at 43,000 RPM, I sure hope that bigger crank and new bearings do their job.
