Default gpx-4 on-road FRONT BELT(newbie Q)

why does this keep happening, i have replaced 2 front belts for my car, i put one on and drive it around and within 5mins its snapped, i bought the car as a RTR, is there a tensioner somewhere, maybe its too tight? any ideas?

use yr finger to 'feel' the tension of the belt; there should be some slack, not too tight...

also check for any rubbing of the belt on any parts of the car.

as a precaution, make sure that you are using the correct belt. The front belt has a different tooth count from the rear.
