It is worth it though because the "X" conversion is a big improvement in corner speed in my opinion. The car is very nuetral with the Parma R11 body.

The major changes IMO would be the rear hub carriers, shock towers, and rear shock bodies. The easy part is the rear body mount which is alot higher to increase rear downforce. (Stability) The bulkheads arent a must, but its nice to experiment with them. (They can increase traction/response) Your chassis and battery plate dont really need to be changed over just yet, but start out your 2008 season with the new chassis though, to know your car is somewhat fresh.

Anyone notice that when you switch from the MRX4R rear hub carriers to the MRX4X hub carriers there is a lot of slop in the rear axle (side to side) ?

I think I found the problem. The X manual shows two extra shims that aren't used in the R kit. I don't think I got them in my conversion kit...

There are some alu shims to space it out between the bearing and the hub. Cannot remember how many, but you need the same number of shims. Difference is if you put it on the inner or outter side of the bearings.

Aha, I found them hiding in with the rear shock body package.. Didn't think to look in there.. Thanks guys!!
