Based on gwilli2001us' guidelines my 2 cents borrowed from well established 1/10 electric & mini-z scene rules which I think will be easier to comply with and still separate the classes. Revision ideas in RED.

Spec Stock - Open Chassis , Rubber Tyres, Lipos allowed, stock motors, sedan Bodies

Sportsman Stock - Open Tyres, Open Chassis, Lipo's allowed, Stock Motors., Sedan Bodies

Open/Pro - Open Tyres, Open Chassis, Lipo's allowed, Open Motors, Any body style

Spec Stock - Should be run in stock form with stock chassis, shocks, motor, gearing, rubber wheels, 2/3 or 2cell li-po. All parts shoul be OEM with no aftermarket hop-ups and radio of choice. Sportsman and spec should be the same class this way there are only 2 classes Spec and Mod= larger heats. Just my .02

Kudos for mentioning the gearing, every spec class misses the gearing and the guys "in the know" end up being way faster and ruining the point. I think you need to say no shock oil or spring change either if you really wanted to make it spec, as those make a huge performance difference as well.

The reason I was thinking open chassis is because it's near impossible not to change a part or two if not for performance then for durability. but then again the Slash racers seem to have done just that...

Let's run this classes and go from there. All you need to run at Beltran Raceway is stock. No need to change gearing. Shock oil, shock position, roll center does affect the handling of the car but that all depends on how you drive your car point and shoot or roll your car. Just make sure you have different color co'z it's confusing when there are two or three cars of the same body.

Default Awesome track

I wanted to Thank Jesse and the Beltran family for building us a indoor onroad asphalt track..

At first when I saw the track my first impression was the track was to small for 10th scale cars.. But after I put my car on the track with a 13.5 brushless I couldnt stop running.

Traction was so good it reminded me of the days that we ran at Socal racetrack.

We ended up racing today Alex, dewy , francis and me 13.5 brushless. We had 4 qualifiers and a main. At the end we ended up getting trophies and money for what place we came in.

Thanks Jesse!!! I have told all my race buddies and they definately want to come run on your track especially when you widen the track....
