Spider MKII, what can u say about?

Hi guys,

I'm an electric guy but I want a Nitro just for fun and some mild racing. Is the MKII right for me?

I want a Nitro because of the sound it makes and the speed too, but still I want something thats user friendly and for begginer at the same time cheap. I have a very tight budget. Also that Nitro can be used for racing from time to time. Dont worry guys I'm not planning to win just wanna have fun raving but I dont want to be lapped 3 times by the leaders too.

I have this guy selling his MKII for about $78 with stock engine. All I need is a couple servos, receiver and radio.

My friend got his Superten for only $59 used but in good condition.

Which is better Super10 or the MKII?

Thanks

Anyone?

Pls...

S10/MkII?

I own both. If you are just looking for fun and low price get the S10. It is bagger, more stable. If you want to upgrade the parts, S10 are very expensive. Speedwise, S10 have more potential, but again, it cost much more money than MkII. If both are in stock form, I will choose MkII. It all depends on your preference.

Okay

but I really dont have a choice...I'm going to buy the MKII because its will only cost me less than 80 bucks. I think I'm going to get it but I want your opinions here.

So do u think I can race the MKII and feel competetive? What important hop ups should I get?

Thanks

i cannot see why u cannot be competitive, after all, the driver is the biggest factor here......... for hopups i would start with swaybars, camber links and uni's for the car....... things that will improve the cars handling abilities are the most important. Also try to lessen the weight of the car, because they are a little heavy....

uhm...

What about the Superten? Someone is selling me for the same price...if u gonna choose what will you get?

Mailbox: Pinaiisipan ko yung Superten ni Jio, nakabili daw sya ng isa pa kaya benta nya sa akin yung isa.

mailboxck 12-17-2001 08:26 PM

zxt: the super ten is quite old already but is still up to date, with its ball type suspension and stuff. The only problem with it is parts, not only because they are harder to find but they are much more expensive because of the size and scale of the car. But overall, it's a good car.

MkII

Given the same amount of money, MkII will be more competitive. If you are good enough in tuning the car, MkII with stock engine will run pretty fast. (with 2 speed)

zxt 12-18-2001 07:43 AM

But why is the

Superten much much more expensive (bnew) than the MKII? So you think the MKII is more competitve than the Superten?

Say both stock which is better?

Mailbox: Jio said marami raw parts...mas mahal ba parts ng Superten sa MKII?

mailboxck 12-19-2001 02:04 AM

zxt: mas malaki kasi super ten = bigger parts = bigger price tag.
Mas competitive ang mk2 kasi may racing class tayo dito. Konti lang ang nag papatakbo ng super ten dito eh. Baka mabored ka lang...maganda pa raw yung car sabi ni Mang eh

Team_Akina_1 01-01-2002 12:55 AM
