Default Back into the scene, so what now.

I have been in the rc game for about 2 years but then i stopped bc i didnt have enough time. Now i just brought all my stuff back out and I have a RC10gt, Serpent impulse with a tubro engine, and a Impact with a mega .15 engine in it. Im looking into getting a new engine for my impact and so what should i get?

if you race in the states, the 235mm class is dead, and the serpent impluse car is out dated. now that's does not mean you can't race but unless you are on top of your game most likely you wont be able to keep up with more newer car such as serpent 720 mugen mtx4r and or the kyosho rrr evo

i am in louisville ky. I am kinda out dated so you mean the Serpent Impact and impulse is out dated? If i remember right the impact was the 235 class so they dont make those anymore? Whats the difference between the impact and the 720 in size?

The impulse is the same size as the 720 but has about 5 generations in difference.
The Impact is indeed a 235mm car and current model is the 835 and is so far I know the only 235mm car still produced. The Impact is far outdated, I think tires and parts will be difficult and placing a new engine (.15 or .18) could have some drilling and fixing....

the serpent 720 is a touring car 200mm class and the impact is 235mm class, meaning the width of the car. the serpent 835 is the latest and the only car in production in the 235mm class and is about 3 maybe 4 years old. http://www.serpent.com/product/Gas%20Cars/main/14/

yea i looked around the serpent website and my stuff is a little out dated. Like i said i have been out of it for like 2 years. I ran my impact and impulse yestereday and they still run like hell so i think i might keep them until next season get back into the groove of things then sell them during the season to upgrade. According to the website the impact is not discontinued like the impulse. so why did they stop making the lola bodies for the impact? And i really like the impact so would getting a 835 be pointless?
