Default first tourer?

hey guys ive been running electric tourers for about a year now and wanna try something a little different so thought id go nitro. so far ive pick an engine and thats bout it. im gonna get an os tg nut not sure on the current crop of cars all the locals run mtx 4s and i like the g4s but kyosho have always been strong same with serpent. my question is whish car is probably the most forgivable when it come to handling and tuning? im probably gonna need a tough car but its nice if itd be forgivable when it comes to set up.
any suggestions or experiences would be appreciated,

Josh,
You have really answered your own question. The MTX4 is the most used car in our part of the world, there for getting help with setup and parts will be the easiest and this is important when starting out. Not only that they are the best. So my advise is get the one you are going to recieve the most help with. Oh and the mugen is very forgiveable.

ok apart from rc mushroom where can i buy parts and stuff for mugen? or is much room the cheapest?
also what will i need so far its:
second gears spare and different ratios
belts probably a spare for all three
shock springs
is there anything else i should buy to get on track?

i like brooklyn hobbies for my mugen stuff or even pro shop futaba they neva let me down
