Default New Kyosho FW06

http://kyosho.com/eng/products/rc/de...duct_id=102655

The FW05 is a great car. Hopefully it will be easier to get parts for it now the very similar new FW06 will be coming out.

Me thinks Kyosho is trying to re-release the same car? You may even be able to get a rear exit exhaust manifold... then you could put a good .12 racing block on it!

I can't see anything real different between this and the FW05T+?

Thanxs

New Parts:
  • Digital Servos
  • Rear hubs and lower suspension arms used by the World Champion V-ONE RRR provide fascinating setting options.
  • New design quick refill fuel tank cap and dust-proof radio box back up their impressive form by also contributing to the low center of gravity.
  • Aluminum case oil shocks feature dial tension adjustment with stylish white springs.
  • High-strength brake disk holder produces controllable braking power.
And more...

FW05T+ has the same rear hubs (V1RRR) and the same threaded shocks. The FW06 has different springs & fuel tank. I will be interested to see if they have installed the Steel crown and pinion gears as yet?

Will Kyosho rebirth the shaft drive market and bring out a race version

Thanxs

Headhunter:

Kits and parts are hard to come by in my part of the World. HK don't seem to have much either. FW05-T+ are easy to come by though...

Don't know about the Evolva, would be the same as the V-RRR Evo i would think. Remember it is the FW05T+ that has the alloy threaded shocks the standard version has the same shocks as a V1S with the plastic clips.

There is not a big difference between FW06 and FW05T+. Actually, the new fuel tank is nice, jsut the one that comes with FW05 sux.
It's nice to know that Kyosho has not abandonned their shaft driven cars, but I wonder if they will release a new FW06RR.
Since this one doesn't come with a T after it, it seems that this is going to be the only FW06 model.

they might come up with the FW-06R first then the RR later i have to agree with you that it's nice that Kyosho did not abandoned their shaft driven cars i still have my FW-05RR and hopefully hat new fuel tank for the FW-06 might be a direct fit
