The manufacturers all have donuts, only shops do not carry them because less interest from customers.

All the rim diameters are the same. You can call John at BSR Racing Tires and get donuts. 513-829-5800.

I picked up an associated rc500 this summer, came with a lot of donuts and mounted rims (UFRA & Associated) still in bags. They're probably 15-20 years old. Not sure if they'd work, let me know if your interested.

thanks for all the replies guys A great help for those of you with the same problem I may have the solution. My buddy and I are looking at modifing a pair of associated rear 1/10 scale rc10gt 3 piece beadlocks and putting strickers on them to see if we can use rubber tires instead of foams on the rear .Serpent fronts can be made to work with some bearings with ease .I'll let you all know how it works out in the coming weeks thanks again for the help 2-ton-gt

Was there ever a resolution to the tire issue?
I'm bringing a Barely used RC300BD back from the grave for my son to learn with and I've already been told im gonna be stuffed for getting tires.
Do I put it back away or is there someway/somewhere I can keep getting new tires for it

Wow, You've done a great job there! It looks like its just come out of a time warp.
Mine was only run about 5 times in total for a few minutes at a time but time and grime have taken its toll.
I spent hours and hours on mine and its still not that clean......and boy does mine need a new body with a cool retro colour scheme like yours.

Truly, I'm blown away. You'd swear yours just came out on a brand new box!!

I won the 1990 US Nationals 1/8 Pan class with a Associated RC300BD slightly modified. You would be better off re-using the old wheels and putting new rubber on them. Also unless the bite is just fantastic on you track, you need a relatively soft tire, maybe a 30 or even 25 shore. The front caster needs to be set at around 7 to 10 deg. for medium to high traction tracks. The front tires need to be a hard compound, 40 0r 45 shore. Check the Ball diff, It has to have a very smooth action. Set the diff relatively loose for low traction, tighter as the traction improves. Lots of rear wing is needed compared to the cars we are running today. Thats about it, These two-wheel drive dino's actually handle pretty good if set-up properly.
