We, the RAMS, are process of scheduling a meeting to discuss the series and our 40th anniversary race. I think most RAMS racers will approve - but, voting is necessary when we dip into club funds - plus we need to get race management volunteers. The college, our race site, charges the hell out of us to use the parking lot. For a multi-day race the club has to dip into our reserves to pay for the rental. The event entry fees can't even come close to defraying the cost. In any case, based upon past history, we will be up for the series.

I don't know about two legs for us - that might cost too much.

The above only matters if these are multi-day events. If we choose (undecided now) single day events the cost is no longer a concern.

I hope this explanation is clear and helpful.

We are just thinking that it wouldn't be fair to you guys driving down to So Cal 4 x and we from So Cal driving up to Rams only once.

Although it's sedan only, SpeedWorld Raceway would be willing to host a race.

We had a general meeting at the last RAMS race (Sunday, 11/11).

To a member - Our club will be thrilled to host two legs of the series.

One of the two events will be our Special Blow Out 40th anniversary celebration/party. Steve Perez and Billy "the touch" Twork have joined me to "head-up" the Nor-Cal contact points.

The RAMS membership is excited in participating in this event as the RAMS! the longest running 1/8th scale club in the USA.

(includes all ex-prezidents - Mr. Bowerman)

That is good to hear that Rams is hosting 2 races out of 5.
When is the 40th anniversary?

when did we decide on five I believe it is four, But anyways nice to see that the rams have the ball rolling the correct way just got back from the Nats and now can begin working out the kinks down here, first I have to figure out whats going on with CP heard a lot of rumors but I will call and talk to those who run the track to see if it will be part of the series or not and I heard that GLARC had a pretty good weekend so for sure I know they will be willing to participate

Hey Brian,

Welcome back. You had quite a following on RC Live! The Mugen guys were quite active and were cheering you on - along with the rest of us. The Live RC is fun stuff.

I think we should chat this week. The RAM membership is up for this series. Give me a shout when you settle in. We would be happy to do one or two legs - whichever is best. Talk with you soon.

Rich
