The original 20/48 26Tside package was great at high bite tracks with lots of switch-backs.
I like them both and still use both.

Upgrade spur gears???
Does anybody know of any upgrade spur gears for the Evolva???
It eats the gears every 20 minutes running, I'm fed up!!!

which one?both of them?
it's not the gears for sure.
check the bearings,in the shaft,in the bell, the mesh, and the bearings in the engine.
also make sure the servo does not move the engine away from the spurs when you are in full throttle.

Thanks for the reply Gregory!
Most often goes the 2nd gear but the 1st gear is eaten as well. Checked the engine, does not move, shaft bearings and bell bearings are couple of weeks old and they are Boca ceramics. The engine is new, just broken in, 35+21 AB MODS (crazy power by the way!!).
I'm seriously thinking to make them metal...

end points for throttle?the aligment of the engine?
do you race or you play in parking lots?

I race in parking slots!! We do not have any track in town, so we organize races in big parking slots.
The aligment of the engine seems ok.

maybe it's the dirt from the roads.take a fhoto from the mesh that you make in the gears.

one more:when you measure the mesh measure in 4 points in the gears.like a cross.so you can understand if you have a bent shaft(without disassemble it).

In my humble opinion, this week, we in Team Kyosho America have lost two real gentlemen from our ranks, not just two of the best on road-racers in the world. Two real friends.
Thank you for always pushing and motivating me to improve myself and working as a team.
Yourselves, and the "other two masterminds supporting you both"; they know who they are, will be truely missed.
I wish you all (including Sherry of course) the best in your new endeavours.
Paulie
