2nd gear & Pulley (don't know which one)
Plus some other bits & pieces

You heard it here first...
Further to my post last week, here is a picture of the update kit.

I see the gearbox & sway bar look very Mugen now.

can't wait to see how the evo kit turns out

hey any of you guys use a fuel filter or pressure chamber in your M3's? (is it actually needed?)

Kinda curious about that Nova Fuel Cooler too (notice any differences in runtime?)

Which servo's are you guys running? (Futaba BLS###, Airtronics, etc.)

I currently run JR 8717's for throttle and steering...both have phenomenal speed and torque... am thinking about BLS's, BUT which ones to use on throttle and steering? I have the Airtronic Z's with the finned heatsinks (blue) in my MRX-4X.

Hey

First post and have a few questions. I recently bought the Evolva 2005 ( havent recieved it ) and have a few qs.

What parts from the newer Evolvas fits the 2005 ?

What bodies are there out that fits it ?

What are the mods/ changes needed on this car to make it run as good as possible.

Thx. Pete

Default throttle lay down

For those of you who have placed the throttle servo in the lay-down position, where do you place the RX? The instructions vaguely mentions "to the left". lol

Yes you mount the RX on the left side of the car
under the upper deck, with the receiver mount holder.
You will mount the holder with two screws and use dub sided tape
to hold RX inside of the mount. I use the Ko mini RX.
And i have the RX face down. Now try to wire the car neat.

..appreciate quick reply...now to be clear and not to sound too dense...when you say left side of car...I assume the left side when rear of chassis is infront of me and not next to lay down positioned servo.

Hi,
if anyone is interested, i've got 6 bags (new) of the Red 4d clutch shoes. $10 each, if you buy more than 3 bags, i'll ship for free (U.S. only).

Send me a pm if interested.

Thanks,
Steve

@ RC Rock,

I am still in the middle of building my first Kyosho M3 (been Mugen MRX4-X) but from what I've heard/read, the '05 and '07 have interchangeable parts and a conversion kit up to '07 WC Edition is available. However, the M3 is a totally different car on its own when compared to its predecessors and cannot be upgraded from '07 to M3 (Kyosho will will be releasing an upgrade kit for the M3 this Summer).

the reason i'm asking is because they have the 2005 wc at a-main hobbies for 469...
by far the only way for me to get into 1/8 scale on road...
