Hello Ali:
Getting back to the purpose of this thread, as you begin to observe the behavior of your new M3 on the local track/ conditions please feel free to write back for set-up needs and suggestions. We have had lots of testing results here this past year and can possibly share some insight for individual needs and improvments where necessary. When requesting though, please send a pm with your present set-up and specific observations such as, oversteer/understeer/on or off power, corner entry, mid-corner, corner exit, etc. This would be very helpfull defining your circumstance. By the way, the paint job is more than acceptable for the first time with an airbrush! Keep it up!
Good luck racing, enjoy the hobby, but most importantly, have fun!

You have a great car right out of the box! Happy Holidays!

not sure if this has been brought up already...

but during my m3 build, the two 2-speed spurs are in contact with each other. is this right? i'm pretty sure i followed the manual right, but i would have thought there would be a spacing between them as the pinions have a gap between them. are you guys shimming the spurs? leaving it as is? or did i botch the build?

separate question. are most of you guys laying down the throttle servo? i'd like to but i found out i have to buy some additional hardware to do so. is there a separate kit for the lay-down throttle servo upgrade? otherwise, i guess i'll go to kyosho usa and order them separately online. i can probably get away with hardware from my lhs, but i'd like the actual kysoho stuff if possible.

thanks,
chris

The spur gears should not be touching, also the stand up servo is just fine.

Default Punched

Time to start the 2009 season!

Empire's chief cook, Rick Davis, has whipped up a bunch of M3 performance, lip smackin' good, Hop-ups. These parts make this tasty vehicle even spicier.

Get your taste buds ready...Empire is cookin, baby....

We will be showin' off mild to wild, this year, we may even get a little dirty.

Spicy!!!!!!!!!!!!
