Default removing bearing shield

How do I remove my rubber sealed bearing shield? any guide with pictures?

Just kind of fish it out with a x-acto knife around the outside edge of the seal. That is how I do it. I haven't punctured one, but I have bent one around 10 degrees or so... just bend it back.

If you know of another way, please post it and we'll see how it works out.
