you are saying silicon cannot hold up nitro fuel? right? it is the material i am talking about and i believe you are talking about the material.

I use the Permatex Ultra Blue - only because I have it. The Ultra Copper works just as well and both of these are sensor safe varieties. Used sparingly on a clean surface I haven't had any trouble caused by fuel.

Avoid the older acetic acid based silicones - they work (well sort of) but that acid sure does eat into alloy.

try running a .15 (big block) gasket. i run a RD logics pipe and i find that i leak with the stock .12 gasket, but with a .15 it secures it better and it seals snug. also try a new spring
