No need for 2 gears on the smaller tracks. I see a lot of tracks in the Us where the cars are shifting in the last 20ft of the straight. I would guess that if you are shifting just once in a lap, you could be better off with a single speed. Has anybody tried this body...

Something similar you see on one of our local tracks, but on my very personal point of view, 2 speeds helps a lot and if you are on that situation, go down 1-2 teeth on pinion, or go up 1-2 teeth on spurs and you will be using the full power that a reduction box as 2 speed can give you.

It's an excellent track and big enough for these big cars. They really put a lot of work in it over the last couple of years. I've watched its progress from the off-road track, but now I finally have an on-road to run on it.
