Good to see Ofna has stepped it up for us. I really have to try the new (old) bodies again. It's too bad ROAR is still ignoring us.

Yeah, this whole playing the waiting game for ROAR is getting a little past ridiculous.

Would be nice to be a recognized class......

I'll be ready for the next one, Clete. My car is fixed and fast. Can't wait, I had a blast at this last one.

correct if i'm wrong...have GT racing came out way before like short course truck, e-buggy and 1/12 scale and it didn't take roar long to recognize those classes

Hate to tell you, but 12th scale has been around for quite some time. You might want to look up the original Team Associated RC12L. It has been around since the mid-1980s. 12th scale has been part of ROAR for at least 25 years.

Looks like the summer will go by with nothing said but who is surprised? Guess we all hoped for the best from roar but got the normal answer, Nothing-- Gee what a shocker

His point was we should have heard something by now since other classes have been developed & recognized well after the fact of GT cars being raced for sometime now.

Thanks for the smart azz answer on your knowledge of the 12th scale class it had NOTHING to do with his question but you knew that didnt you

His point was other new classes (Plural) have been recognized but not GT

I have been racing the GT cars since the first BMW and Subaru hit the shelves. It has been many years now, and ROAR's past and present president have shrugged us off for years now. It's always the same story. I'm working on it , and then nothing happens. Kinda like Washington, isn't it.

And what a shame that is. These cars are very cool.

Just like the Slash, they have the realism feel. One of the things that made the Slash an enormous success (short of the cheap price) is the tie to real world racing. These things look just like the 1:1 trucks, just as the GT cars look like their 1:1 counterparts.

Give it a chance ROAR, and it will thrive.
