Savox here too.

Great servos, titanium gears, ball bearings, digital, half the price of your common high end servo. Can't beat that.

I have the Spektrum H6040 on gas/brakes - which is a rebadged Savox 1258 from what I know. VERY happy so far.. Fast and strong and - so far - reliable...

On steering I have the rebadged Hitec 5955 from Tower - the Hobbico CS 170 or whatever it's called. Seems slow to me. I have a Hitec 5955 in my SC8, and it seems much faster. Eventually I'd like a 1257 Savox on steering - need something faster..

EDIT - just checked the torque numbers for the 1257.. Is 111oz enough? The 1258 is fast enough I think, and has 14 kilos...

What air filters do you guys use? I was using a Savage filter, which I normally use on all my RC's - MT, truggy, buggy, SC8.. Surprised that with the DM-1 it gets just as grimy, maybe even faster.. Anyway, I think the Savage filter is too big, and maybe inhibits some cooling. I was going to try the stock onroad style filter that comes with the DM-1, but from what I've seen so far I think it'll have a half-inch layer of grime all over it within one tank..

onroad filter with 1:8 ins-box works for me

I use Orion blue servos, fast & strong, reliable

BTW, RB needs taller gearing, 13T was too slow and motor was overheating. BMT 3x faster easily Actually, now after dialed in, it is sick fast! Haven't seen such a fast GT car ever.

It's in my plans indeed now that car is "complete". She seems to love the Warrior body, too! It's a sight... props to Italians developing such a nice car. Not the latest and greatest but awesome all the way (with the 2-speed tranny).
