Everything has been run in these cars. The best on-road motors are probably too much for them. The offroad motors work really well, but something in between seems a good compromise. .28's are very popular because the torque gets the heavy cars moving well. I think the new OS .25 might just be the hot ticket.

At the Ipanema GT Worlds and Nationals, there were several racers using the OS .25xz engine. It definitely has more zip to it than the OS .28xz. Can't go wrong with an OS powerplant.

Anybody running an Hot Bodies chassis that can tell me what kind of body posts you're using to mount these type of bodies????

Most of the people that I see that run conversions use the Kyosho mounts, they are simple and cheap. Here's the part # KYOIG104 GL

I sold my OFNA DM ONE 1/7th and got a NIB DM SPEC 1/8

Can you more or less share a base setup ?.

On my 1/10th nitro i love to use front spool, would work on GT's ?, not a spool but i think i have 500.000 diff oil laying around waiting to be used ... would it work ?

If the track it tight your car will not rotate well, it will push in slow speed corners.
