Hey guys, I just ran my gt1/8th car on Sunday with the sweep rubber tires against the foam tire cars and the thought I was running foams on it! Those things where hooked up! I could not believe it!

Scooby you are the Man in TC NO DOUBT, but I didnít see you running the GT on Sunday and we were TQ.

Did you run in the evening?

I agree Sweep tires do work very well

Maybe next race you can kick our buts in GT like you do everyone else in TC.

Actually, I tried foams for the first time in GT on the track last weekend and my experiences are really crappy. They didn't work at all (they do work in 1/10th scale). I was surprised.. Ipanema rubber worked all the way.

Yes I tested them at the end of the day. I had to much stuff to test in nitro tc and electric tc this weekend. Not enough hours in the day for me. I was really surprised how well they worked! My car worked better on them than them than the foams.

Thanks Pato, I'm sure there's a few more GT racers waiting in the wings.

GT cars all weekend long + great GT racers + great track & facility = Great GT race!

You know you can only use them in the open class right? I got a set of GQ tires myself to try them out

I converted my losi 8ight into a GT (brushless of course) car and was wondering if I should switch to the L8 shocks or another company. Any suggestions? What shock oil weight should I start at? Any help would be appreciated!

PS: That's my Kyosho Mini z next to the 8ight.

There's a thread over on the electric side now that you have converted. I did a Losi conversion a little while ago. I used L8 rear shock tower and a set of 8ight buggy front shocks.

We had a great time running at the CORRC Rocky Mountain Challenge. Had 5 cars make it out with several different cars, bodies and tires.

Bottom Line - everyone had fun and the specators enjoyed the show as well!!!
