That one is rotorstart, while starter box engine is N21B09 same specs. I like this one. Hope it's approved soon so I can run spec.

Again, everyone needs to be patient about the engine thing. There are a lot of engines out there and Jspeed and Ipanema are looking over them and carefully doing some evaluations so that there are no "ringers" that will be added to the listing. GT spec racing has been about being fair and equal competition without breaking a racer's bank. If you start adding stuff on a whem because a select few like this engine or that engine, then you will eventually turn spec class into a money class which will be its demise. Again, you can run any engine you want in the Open class so if you have your (not singling just you out) mind set on a certain engine, feel free to buy it. Like I stated in an earlier posting people, just be ready to be told that your engine is not on the Spec engine list and you will have to run in the open class.

Guys, relax on the whole "Spec" engines.

We're waiting on the Novarossi engines Joaqiun has suggested to arrive for evaluation & approval for our events. It would be a great addition for our "Spec" class.

As soon as we know, you all will know too.
Until then, the Spec engine list used in our Worlds event at Homestead remains unchanged, OK

Thanks Guys

Pato,

Its not about the dollar amount, not about the speed, its about the quality.
Lets hope there's one "tame enough" to be on the list.

A Novarossi on the Spec list could offer many GT racers added value, durability, reliability and excellent support.

Mhhh i disagree ... SPEC classes its always about the how LOW budget, BIG speed and BIG quality you can get ...

If you are loyal to the same parameters used for first time list of SPEC engines, a novarossi SPEC engine at US$ 250 or US$ 300 will not be in the list, it needs to be low buck, not huge power amd good quality ...

Anyway, let the time decide and wait for that engine ...

On the other hand, i just saw ROAR with a draft of rules for GT ... what you think Jeff about it ?, im not 100% convinced ...

cya !

Default New Class

This is a wonderful idea. A new class from the ground up. As previously stated it needs to remain affordable af "fair" for ALL those involved. I know many drivers get sponsorships and that's fine as long as the class does not get convoluted with mached and hand fitted motors etc... as long as you can wheel you can TQ...
