Hello from France,

the body you see (mazda6 ou stratus) are for touring car that runs the same day.

The body we use in RG were: PF8, Maserati MC12, Mc Laren, Renault Megane Trophy, Subaru...

au revoir

Based on the Katana buggy platform, the Katana Rallycross (RX) RTR is more than just a buggy with a sedan body thrown onto it. The chassis is slightly longer for more high-speed stability, and is capable of over 50mph with it's shoe-type two-speed transmission. Several gear ratios are available. The shocks are also shortened, but the RX is still capable of running in the dirt. Plenty of shock positions are available to adjust the ride height. Many upgrades from the Katana buggies also fit, and the wheels are standard 17mm hex so you can use any buggy tire and wheel combination, from knobbies to foams.

Katana RX Features:
Durable 6061 Anodized Aluminum Chassis
PRP .27 Engine w/pullstart (2.7hp 40000RPM)
Hitec 2ch Aggressor AM Radio System
4mm 6061 Aluminum Shock Towers
Shoe-type 2-speed Transmission
Lightweight 3-shoe Racing Clutch
Adjustable Heatsink Engine Mounts
Front Hardened CV-Joint Set
Tuned Aluminum Pipe and Manifold
Rubber slick tires on Nylon spoke rims
Pre-cut, pre-painted Touring body
Impact-absorbing foam front bumper
All assembled and ready to run!

The Katana RX is perfect for the GT Class, best part about it is the price.

As long as it happens after the end of a race, it's all good.

Mr. Jspeed,
You would have been proud of us. Ipanema tires placed 1st, 2nd, and 4th at today's race at Gulf Coast RC track.

Wish you would have come down to GCRC, would have been nice to finally put a face to a name. Maybe we will meet at RCRCNT, if they would hold a club race.

For the next 4 to 5 months, I don't see any growth for the GT class in Houston. Yesterday was the last onroad race at GCRC. We took down all the board on the track so they can begin reconstruct for for possibly the 2010 1/10 200mm IFMAR worlds. Should be somthing great when it is completed. Once GCRC open the onroad track, then we will see the growth of the GT class. I think Jeff mentioned they will shoot for a GCRC Grand Prix Race for the first race on the new layout.

Looks like you're having fun.

You bet I am, really wish I could have raced at Ft. Myers and Kissimmee before I left Florida. Now I have to wait 5 to 6 months for the onroad track to reopen here....

Drew,
I was running the 1/7 DM-1 chassis setup, Lou was using the original Ofna GTP chassis.
