Wow 18/22 and 16/22 Should my TS5 Nova engine can catter this ?

To be specific gearing effect what is the combination look like.
1. For Good pick up exit corner
17/21 ?
2. For good high speed
16/20 ?
Should i change my spur gear as well?

17/21--for high speed track less corners

16/20--more pick up more turns

go for max spur 45, 49

can try 15/21 for very quick pick up but hav to change driving style n engage 2nd speed earlier

Talking Can I conclude..

Can I make a conclusion that :-
1. Smaller the gear - more pick up

yes ....u've concluded......bigger gear ratio

(1 st spur/1 st pinion)x2.526=gear ratio
higher gear ratio ...more pick up;
lower gear ratio...more top speed.

2.526=internal gear ratio of v1-RR

Yes. Smaller pinions = more pick up.

Start by setting your second gear pinion so that the engine peaks at the end of the longest straight.
Next, go 3 or four teeth smaller for the first gear pinion, depending on the track.
Finally, you can change spur gears to get "in between" ratios.

Esham check out the RR thread, lot's of info there. AMG and Manti and others are more than willing to pass on what they have learned. The learning curve is steep but very enjoyable.

You should try out 16/22 pinion and 47/43 spur you find the will have a lot punch and a lot faster on the top end

Default gear combo

you guys should try the fast gear conversion kit from 3 racing. it comes with 2 24t pully and 2 new belt to fit it. Use 15/19 pinnion and you will get 20% extra power.
you can get it cheapest at www.prorc.net
and use 45/49 spur

Hi there pro ak

would you care to explain, where should the 2, 24T pulleys be place. is it at the rear shaft? replacing the 2, 19T pulleys. and how long is the belt? or how many teeths does the 2 belt have? and does it work together with the front side 25T pulley.
sorry for asking so much
wanting to get this conversion kit, but don't know how it work. thank in advance
