NovaMega SX12 Problems!

I've got a Serpent 705 with a brand new NovaMega SX12 engine and a Serpent PowerStart starter box. The engine has never been started up or anything before, well when I put the car onto the start box, the rubber wheel starts smoking and the flywheel hasn't even been turned once. I have the button adjusted properly and I am pushing down hard on the chassis, yet it won't start. It's like the engine has too much compression making it impossible for the flywheel to be turned, I can turn the flywheel by hand when I have the engine in my hand, but it is pretty hard to turn.

Any advice is appreciated.

try and slightly loosen your glow plug, just about a less than a 1/4 turn until it fires up then tighen it back up, should be fine after a couple tanks. I kind of have a dumb question since you have a 705 were does the switch mount on the chassis?

Thanks, it worked .

As far as the switch goes, there is no particular place to mount it. I driled out the top plate and mounted it in between the gas tank and the throttle servo.
