The points tally was sent off, as well as pictures. Report will go out later today. Brian will get it up as soon as he can.

Next up is Joliet! Some of you have not had a chance to run there yet. It is the smoothest surface you are likely to run on! Grip levels should be very good for our race. The grip is often low a weekly races, but comes up nicely with a bit of traffic. Tire wear is very low.
One bit of news.......The ROAR region 5 champs will be rolled into this event! If this works out, perhaps we will rotate the regionals between the MWS legs. This is, of course, up to ROAR officials. But it works for me.
Might as well get your pre-regs in now!!

I see on the Midwest Series website that there is no hotel/motel info. Could someone please help with this? Also will there be any discounts for hotel/motel be available?

I can't help but ask if Brian is the only person that can post the results and write the story for these races.

He is President of the club in Toledo and getting married and yet everybody waits for him for postings?

Can't someone help the poor guy?

Guys,

I have not updated the MWS website for the Leisure Hours raceway. The best way to get to the track is to use thier directions from their website www.leisurehoursraceway.com. They are located in the middle of the boonies!

But Ted, you should be able to find it easily, Chicagoland Speedway is about 3 miles down the road from there. LOL

I do not think there are going to be rate discounts but that is up to the MWS Director or the Host track guys. I know there were hotels reasonably close: Holiday Inn Express & Marriot Fairfield. I think they were priced around $80/night when we stayed for the Byrons race.

The track is a great one for those to make it out there!

I think what fghi116 is trying to say is that he would like to learn how to post the race report and points.

What is used on a weekly bases is unlikely to be the right tire for the MWS race. The weekly events are usually medium to low grip, whereas the bigger events rubber-in nicely and get very good grip levels. Tire wear is very low and the surface is super smooth. Perhaps Ira will give some more specific tire recomendations. For 1/8 I will likely use 35 or 37 shore.

During the Byron's race Jaco Prism's (40 front/ 42 rear) worked really well in sedan.
