Default How do you store your tires?

Those of you running foams, how are you storing them other than the boxes they came in to get them back and fourth to the track? I try to re-use the boxes, but sometime they get thrown away.

Use ziplock bags and try to suck out as much air as possible.

take them out of the box and store them in zip lock bags. I have a bunch of 1/10th scale foams and I stored all of them in zip lock bags. Goto the store and buy the largest zip lock bag you can find. I have about 8 large zip lock bags filled with different shore foams for front and rear. ( 37's, 40,'s 42's, and 45's ).

long term storage: ziploc bags

if they will be used within a month or have to be trued eventually (only the outside dries out), I keep them in my custom tire rack. I screwed an array of dowels to the bottom of one of the boxes in the team magic hauler bag, keeps everything organized and easy to access, I will happily post pictures if you want.

Hey, i use a Takeoff tyre box. It is awesome for transporting tyres to and from the track. Just use ziplock bags for long term storage

Regards, Ryan

Ziplock freezer bags. These seal alot better than the standard ziplocks. I take out as much air as I can and seal em up till the next time out. I also keep them inside my house where its a bit cooler. A bit extreme I know but Ive left tires in my garage and they dry up alot faster.

I use Pringles cans. They nicely fit 2 full sets of tires and if you need a little bit more of an air seal, run a little tape around the lid.
