Danielson: Let me try one of those motors at the fremont track. Your motor looked ballistic going down the back stright.

Cool Sleeve and crankcase

It is a piece of work was done on the sleeve. Anybody was thinkig about thermodynamic before make this mod.? You removed bit of material from the wall of the sleeve-what it's going to happened when sleeve start heatig up-it will loose its geometry. We tryed this 15 years ago-it didn't do any good at all, more then that-in my opinion you wil have a lot work to make new pistons due to the uneven worn out. Also, what I can see on the picture, the channel on the bust is too wide to be a booster and the angle on the port s too small to shoot strait to combustion chamber. What about the timing for exhaust, it seems to me no more then 175 degrees, why woldn't you try to go 185. It will bring your top RPM higher, temprature lower. Did anybody try?
Crank saft-beside increased volume of crank case and all related problems with that, there will be no dynamic ballance at all. You are going to have shifting center of the mass at different range of RPM. Sorry about my English!
