Personally I wouldn't add a whole bunch to this car. Just get the 2 speed, adjustable shocks, different springs. Putting a whole bunch of other stuff on the car is not going to make it go faster only look pretty.

If you do not have front and rear sway bars, I strongly suggest them. Upgrade the engine and 2 speed if not already done. Steering bearings and stiffer spring. Various shore tires. And most of all, practice

In short it helps keeps the opposite tire on the ground during turns.

Get the front "blade" sway bar first. It has the most dramatic effect on handling.

Get a range of springs.

Upgrade the servo saver spring (see discussion in the NTC3 thread)

Get the 2-speed (if you don't already have it)

Get THE FIX (again, look in the NTC3 thread, we talk about it all the time) - this strengthens your shock towers and diff cases a LOT.

like you said get a new radio system. I am running a stock ntc3 rtr too. and i hate the ace system. i am getting either the Airtronics MX3 FM or the JR Racing XR3 FM. Get the titanium or aluminum shocks, 2 speed, and new springs are nice. if your lucky like i was you could pick up a spring set off of EBAY which includes like 7 sets of springs, for like $10. Anyway i would upgrade the radio before i did anything, and Get a Fail safe. I am getting a fail safe too. My first uprades have been ordered and have not arrived. i ordered the hardcore racing Titanium upper deck and the Associated drive shaft because i bent mine in a wreck do to radio interference. that is why i am getting a new radio system that is not am. if you need anymore help on deciding hop ups let me know.

Good luck.

David
