Default Rear Diff Oil Question

So what's the rule of thumb on rear diff oil?

What does lighter oil (3K-10K) do for you?

What does a heavier oil (30K+ ) do for you?

I have typically run 20K-30K in front and 5k-10K in the rear. But lately, I am having people tell me the I really need to tighten up the rear with at least 30K oil.

I always thought lighter weight oils gave better traction and heavier oils took away traction.

As I said earlier I don't have Reflex but if it fits V1R it will fit G4. As for belts if your Reflex uses 27 front side pulley then it will fit perfectly. i myself using some of my V1RR parts such as Diff, belts and pulleys. Hope this helps.

Note: you cant's use V1RR EVO front upper and lower arm because it is a bit long.

Hey I've got a question for you if you would be so kind as to answer them, how do you like the G4 compared to the RR Evo?

In terms of maintenance, which has less if either? Also, what about prices for parts and what part of the world are you in?

Another thing, what kind of inherrent problems does the evo have?

Thanks.

Actually I m very happy with all my cars. I like my G4 because it handles a bit better than my Evo and MTX3.

Maintenance wise I have to say RR Evo is alot easier to work on. G4 design is very compact, so there is not much space left, even for the wiring.

I live in South East Asia so the parts here is a bit cheap compare
to EVO.

I don't see any inherent problems with my evo so far infact between all my cars G4 is the one which give me problem initially(steering servo saver get stuck). You just need time and trial and error to set the steering rail set up properly.
