Kmac... I read your post about bullet proofing the steering setup... Very good stuff indeed!!! I'm using the KO-PRO digital high speed servo for steering... It's a direct fit and the one that Josh Cyrul used on his G4... My issue is not with the servo mounting, installing, and ball cup clearence, but with the servo saver itself... I call Trinity about this with the kind folks at my lhs... They are a where of the problem as is Team Magic which builds the car. Some will have no problems what so ever with the Servo saver and some will get a few bad apples... The build quality is at issue here... The inserts in the servo saver are crimped and not completly round... This is the key... Over time, they will wear out and in some cases very fast... GMP has made a Alum one with Telfon inserts as an upgrade... Your thread has some great sfuff in it and should be read by everyone who has or is thinking about buying the G4... But also in bullet proofing the steering, you should also look into getting the better servo saver as well... Oh, and for those rear shock tower issues... Get the Alum/carbon fiber rear shock tower as well... Other then those few minor things... This car is really rock solid!!! Again Kmac, great posting and thanks for sharing the info.

I bought some graphite powder at Home Depot at the check out counter. I don't know what department it would be in though. Comes with a needle like Trinity bearing oil droppers. Cost you about $7. I normally use it for lubricating my Mini-Z diff.

Zizu... I bought my graphite powder at Ultimate hobbies. The cost was about $3.50 US. dollars It's comes in a very small tube I think about .5oz... I'm sure you can fine some in your area of the world... Try any auto parts store in your area as well... If you can't fine any there and no hobby shops out there carries it, go to www.ultimatehobbies.com You won't find it on there website, but you can call there toll free 800 number and do your mail order that way... Don't use any liquid lubricants or nitro cleaners in the servo saver area nor on the steering rails... Use a air blower to clean that area and before you take you car on the track, put a little graphite power on the rails and dust covers that are on your servo saver... The dust covers are very important to use as they keep any dirt and debris out of the servo saver rail openings.. Hope the info helps... Also check out Kmac's post about bullet proofing your steering.. It's a must read if you're using JR or Hitec servo for your steering. KO-PRO and Airtronics servo's are a prefect fit... JR and Hitec servo's are a tad bit larger and Kmac's post will help in the installation of those servo's... Good luck and post back if you have anymore questions...

dameetz... Funny... You're right it is GPM..lol I placed my order last Friday and I should have my order in by this weekend or early next. I've seen one of the Alum servo saver's on a G4, the owner is from Taiwan. I haven't seen him for awhile due to his business travels.. I'll post back when I get it installed and running. I also ordered the carbon fiber rear shock towers as well. The prices on RCmart are great, it's just the shipping cost that are a bit much. When ordering anything over seas, you should order everthing you need the first time so that you'll only pay the high shipping costs once. Next month, I'll order the Alum steering rail mounts and the K-kactory 75cc fuel tanks. I'll post back to let you all know how RCmart does business and if it's a good website to do business with. I'll be the ginny pig on this one for the Team.. lol

I order my Jaco foams from them. The shipping is steep, but at their prices my buddies and I all order several pairs at once and minimize the shipping. We still come out way ahead. Never had any problems with them.

You can also try and do a search for G4 parts in Hong Kong... I think one site is called RC-model.com... Not sure if that's the correct site, but you can't go wrong with going to Trinity's website... Good luck. Oh, If you can afford the cost, buy one extra kit... You'll have all the parts for your car on hand... I know...lol... Just check out Trinity.com and do a search for G4 parts there on the site.

nickko... Thanks for the reply.. What can we all do to get the correct fuel tank??? Team Magic says that since the tank was not broken and it works, they don't have to replace it... True, but how can you race the car during this season with the tank at 69cc's. Like I posted before, My lhs has the old one, by TM and K-factory at a cost of $25.00... Wow... I hate to say this, but when I had my R40, there fuel tanks cost all of $8.00 US. dollars... I'm rolling with the G4 only now... Very happy, just need some help with issue's already posted earlier... My lhs is Ultimate hobbies in Orange Cali... Please Ultimate hobbies, order G-4 parts for your customers from Trinity ASAP... Not trying to flame, just trying to help the Socal G4 customers in getting parts...

nickko... Thanks again...
About the G4 tank Nick didsend us the new version so we can help you with if you like please contact me and we help you out for a good price

I bought a centax and front one-way from border r/c. They told me it was 10 days to get it shipped to me in the U.S. I had it in eight. They have one of the most complete inventory of G4 parts I've found anywhere with comparable prices to others, a lot of them are even better than other places. I recommend them highly.
