Taped as picture above? yes, it's not mounted on the upper deck as you can see one of the holes is using to mount the alum antenna holder. Actually I prefer to mount in the plastic protector (just like picture above) since I found it difficult to release the upper deck if receiver is mounted where in meant to be.

Hey, guys I am just stating that I do not see how you are supposed to mount a receiver per G4 instructions. Seemingly, just being a micro receiver isn't the only requirement for it to fit. I have a Hitec receiver with a top mounted crystal (same side as servo plugs.). That makes it very difficult to double-side tape and plug in your servos.

As far as the pic that Pyramid is indicating, if you are talking about the one with the neon green rims posted by mtx3.tw. I can't see how that is done, so don't even go there. Picture is too wide and only shows a basic layout.

Have you guys ever had a problem with the inner clutch bearing breaking? I have only ran my car like ten tanks and then I was attempting to tune the clutch. The inner bearing was very tight and didn't want to spin. I removed it and its busted. I know I have to replace it but after only ten tanks that seems like a short life span.

Any tips?

I run an LRP receiver. Top mounted crystal and leads. Here is a picture of how I fitted it with tape.

Your car look nice Test driver. There is a difference in your receiver and mine. Your crystal is on the same side as the servo leads. My crystal is on the otherside. I guess I would need to get a receiver similar to yours to mount it like that.

Thanks

I guess that would make it difficult then. Sorry, didn't realise.

Main differences would be that the Pro kit has graphite parts and a one way front.
The Racer has aluminum parts and a front diff.

Details can be found at Trinity's web site.

I try my very best but I sometimes am wrong too.

The car is nice and I'm sure it performs well but I prefer to concentrate on one brand at a time. Besides, over here, spares are very difficult to find and get for the car. When the car came out, people were like buying another extra kit just for spares...
