Well I got my engine running now. But the thing will only start if I take the pressure line off of the pipe. It will run with the line off, but when the tank gets down to about half full it needs to be back on the pipe. Something is very strange. I don't know if it is the tank (old style) or my pipe. Has anyone had problems like this before.

For what it's worth, a Team Magic G4 finished 2nd in the A today in the 1/10 Open class at the ROAR U.S. nationals.

Randy Joslin drove the arch-nemesis Mugen MTX-3 to the win. I lost a minute in the pits when my steering servo connector popped out....a dumb way to lose a national championship! It wasn't the most competitive class, but it was still pretty cool.

I also used the stock steering rack. : P

sup raul,
i seen you in hobbychamber this weekend but i didnt know that it was you. after you left the store the owner said that it was you. well you name came up after we asked him to open up the track for us and he said that it is closed for august and few people (thats were us name came up) came to the store that day to run without knowing that the track is closed.
did you go to nercar race? it got rained out and we jusmped back in the car and went to hobbychmaber to run, too bad we didnt know that the track was closed.
sorry i didnt email the pics, i have been busy lately, will to that as soon as i can.

Well I took my pipe of the gas truck and now the G4 runs awsome. Weird. I finally raced the G4 last night. All I have to say is wow, the thing handles damn good out of the box. I even threw on some really old 26mm Blue tires I had left over for carpet and it still handled pretty good. The only thing is that I need to get my 2 speed to engange earlier, becasue the track is pretty small.
