Default border rc

I have a currency question for you. Do I calculate your price in erous or netherland guilders. I am trying to find out what your prices are in U.S dollars.

The guilders does not officially exist anymore. Use EUROs instead.

Default MTX3 vs G4

I have an MTX3 which I love, but I have a G4 pro coming to try out. Which one do you guys like better. I don't see the quality being as high as the Mugen, but how does it handle compared with the Mugen.

well grinder the quality of the parts are just as high if not higher than the mugen. I have had the car for about three weeks now and haven't broken anything yet.

Grinder.. You should be very happy with the G4. I have run mine for almost a month and have not had any problems. The only parts that I broke have been caused by radio problems. Other then that the car has run flawlessly for me.

1 Euro = approx 1.11 USD . So multiply all Euro prices by 1.11 and you have your price in Euro's. It's more interesting now to buy products from Europe as the value of the USD increases. Two months ago 1 Euro cost 1.17 USD.

Default G4 gearing....>>>

Quote:
OK, I have found my first dislike of the G4. The 1st gear ratio is with stock gears is 6.42 which is waaaay too big for the little tracks where run on around here. One of the local tracks is a bunch of sharp turns and you need to be able to accelerate hard to get to the next turn. The best I will be able to with a 19t pinion and 52t spur is 6.89.
I don't know what your motor/clutch set-up is, but I can tell you my G4 easily pulls the lower gear (numerically) no problem at all.

When driven back to back with my Flex (7.71 / 6.10), The G4 (6.32 / 4.85) easily pulled as hard as the Flex. It almost seems as though the gearing is NOT that far apart, but on paper is surely is. The light weight of the G4 (a couple hundred grams lighter than my Flex) and the lighter rotating mass must really work because the I was stunned how hard the car accelerated. In fact the box stock G4 reset our local track record which was half a second better than the best lap I ever put in with my Flex.

Oh and I think your estimate of 6.89 is wrong. I believe the best you an do is 6.78. I have calculated the internal ratio as 2.48 where the Flex is 2.52. Does anyone know for sure if the G4 is 2.48 internal?

I have to admit the G4's run very well out of the box, I don't own one and am running a mugen but Marks and Bobby's cars work real well.
I did hear Mark say the shocks sucked though

Benny's talking trash again, LOL

Default one more thing

Hey motorman.

I still stand by my statement and say that the shocks suck. Mainly in the assembly, not so much as the action. Once they are together and adjusted they seem to be alright, but I am still not that impressed by them.
