Default New ninja 12 wont fire!!

I am trying to start a new ninja 12 for the first time. I have broke in a million motors so I feel stupid for asking, but I cant get the darn thing to fire

The engine is getting fuel, and the plug is taking heat....I have tried several just to be sure, and yes the motor is moving the proper way on the box. I have also moved the low end needle to check for too little or too much fuel and nothing is helping? Ive have struggled with motors before, but never like this, anyone had these problems with the ninja 12? Any tricks?

lean the top till you get it started and heat up the head with a hair dryer then when its started richen it up again
use the #5 plug and make sher the glow plug really lights up.

Thanks for the tips, but those are also things I have tried. The engine on occasion fires, but is soooo tight no matter what I do I cannot keep it running.

you're on the right rack then. Keep it warm with the heat gun, loosen the plug just a bit, maybe lean the bottom just a tick to get it lit. Once it has some heat in the engine and keeps itself running, you can tighten the plug back up. It can take a while, but it is worth it

What is the fuel that you are using? I have had very tight Novarossi's that I use 20% and a hot plug. The heat gun trick usually works. Try to not completely tighten the glow plug, heat the engine for a while and try to fire up the engine. Once you get that thing started, keep it lit for a while.

I feel your pain with breaking in motors. Good luck!

You've probably already done this as well, but reset all the needles. I helped a guy start his Ninja that wouldn't start and the factory settings were completely off!

I just took out the ninja plug and put in a novarossi #7 and the engine ran and I have broken in two of them the same exact way and have had no problems out of either of them. Trust me it works and works well. The ninja is not one for a bunch of tanks either get it running with 2 tanks at idle and the rest round robin slow on the track no wide open throttle. The engine will after a few runs really rich when ready automatically start shifting on its own at that point you can start to lean her down and get it race ready....

When they cut the threads for the needles, alot of times they don't clean them out before they put the needle in. I had to clean both of mine, only after someone else had the same problem your having, and told me about it.

Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Having peace of mind is a lot better than looking at a piece of aluminum that wont work....

Send it back.
