Id like to wish our three South African drivers and there crew all the best.
Wayne Joelsen, Frans Van De Merwe and Theo Christofi are running Mugen MRX4R's powered by JP engines.
Unfortunately SA's fastest driver couldnt make the worlds and that is dissapointing as he is Fast with his Serpent.
Im also rooting for Dario Ballestri and Motonica

It is difficult to depend on another factory. JP knows that and Orion/Kyosho now knows that to. The difference between the 2 is that JP is no designer only a tuner and it will be difficult to stay ahead of (in this case) Novarossi.
Fuel consumption is the main issue, with a 10 minutes final you can not have a 2nd fuelstop to reach a direct final place but otherwise the pole on the WC back in 1989 in Holland was a Paris modified (3-port) engine with 2 fuelstops !

Pooh i believe that.
The South african guys spent over a week practicing and and running in engines for the worlds.
Heard they have a dozen or so motors and spares for the event.
and all high end JP's so thats some serious $$$

When I went in 2003 I seen so much power! I had never seen anything like that. The engines had so much pull it was crazy. Guys, if u've never been 2 a worlds try and make 1. When u c that insane horsepower those engines have u're eyes will pop out ur head.

Pipe selection is very important for this track.
If you go for full power, you will NOT make the 1 stop - 10 min qualy. BUT pitlane is fast on this track.
See you at the track
