Adrien Bertin uses an Picco engine, no JP engine!
Rumours say the the production factory of the Team Orion/Kyosho CRF engines is out of business and Team Orion/Kyosho are looking for a new production facility
Now I understand why Josh went to Novarossi.....

Very nice & professional looking promotional billboard for the “Worlds” event.
Best of luck to all!

Collari was only able to win by the slightest margin because he didn't change tires.
Neither Nova nor Sirio engines made time and had less power. I guess that's why he's running Picco.
Cordoba seems to be a power track as well, where fuel consumption will be a big, deciding factor.

I heard that this is JP's last year and he's retiring next year

At the Euros in Lostallo it was clear that only the Picco based engines were able to make 5 minutes without sacrifycing power.

It is difficult to depend on another factory. JP knows that and Orion/Kyosho now knows that to. The difference between the 2 is that JP is no designer only a tuner and it will be difficult to stay ahead of (in this case) Novarossi.
Fuel consumption is the main issue, with a 10 minutes final you can not have a 2nd fuelstop to reach a direct final place but otherwise the pole on the WC back in 1989 in Holland was a Paris modified (3-port) engine with 2 fuelstops !
