Default What is the best radio gear to buy?

I am tossing up between the nomadio react and the spectrum.

Which is the best?

I want to have something that gives you the best range and no interference.

Speky DX3.0 about 250.00

Nomadio React about 260.00 for hte money the Nomadio is the shit!!!

first it has an RX Failsafe built in. the speky dont.
its 4 channels, the speky is 3
is has 40 model memory, the speky has 10.
it has onboard telemetry with only the need to buy and wire up the sensors,
the specky telem is another 200.00 and still dont have a RX failsafe

The React will tell you onscreen you TX RX battery life. the signal strength, and many other bit of great info. even with out any of the telemetry sensors.
the Speky, no, no and none. even With the telemtry and sensors.

the React can be programed and Used on your PC for gaming too.
the speky cant.

the React uses 4AA batterys and comes with a 700 mah pack.
the speky uses 8AA batterys and comes wth a 4x4 aa battery holder.

the React can be charged via the USB port on your puter, and the puter CAN BE OFF.
the speky dont.

Specky RXs are cheaper.
Reacts Telem is cheaper
Speky doesnt need software upgrades.
This can be two fold on the React. it dont Need them but should HAVE Them. heres the 2nd fold, occasionally the Reacts have Failed while doing the software upgrade. i bricked the first two i had during the upgrade. the upgrade failed and the radio was useless. Nomadio CS is good thoug, and got my my First replacement Radio in a week, but the 2nd one took a month!!!! im sure they wanted to be sure i wasnt fugging with the software ( which im an R/C guy, not a software programmer) but none the less a MONTH was just too LONG. since i have recieved my 3rd radio, its working perfectly.. BUT. i have yet to upgrade the software out of fear of if failing again.

apples to apples, the React all the way is my opinion. ive never had a run away with the React, i have had them with the speky.
after 6 months i also noticed range issue with my speky, with the nomadio, ive been 200 yards Plus with out a glitch or even any noticable lag.

If you go for the React, i would appreciate using my referal code for the reward points.

Default Radios

I wouldn't buy either, yes they may be cheap but you know the old saying you get what you pay for. A radio isn't something you usually upgrade every year like battery's, motors or the cars themselves, so buy a good radio now and it will last you forever. I would recommend looking at the Airtronics M11, Futaba 3PK and KO Helios.

exactly!
just find a channel no one else is on and stick to it. i find that most people run 2.4ghz systems now so it makes it easier to find an available frequency.

Default BEST RADIO GEAR TO BUY

I aggree.
Go KO helio.
I have had THREE Airtronics M11 radios, and countless Airtronics receivers and servos, and I will never buy another Airtronics product.
I have had nothing but problems with their equipment for the last year.
I was a loyal Airtronics customer for a very long time, and dont know if their quality just went down, or I just got "unlucky" with 3 M11 radios, and probably 15 to 20 servos, and about 8 receivers, but I finally gave up on them because of the non stop glitching, and servos going bad.I used the 358, and 359 servos, 75 MHZ receivers, original modual for the radio, and even tried the Spektrum systems. <5 systems total>
Now that I changed to the KO helio, KO or Futaba servos, I have not had even One problem.
I bought the new KO helio radio, drop down wheel, and think it is great.

Actually the Spektrum does have an RX failsafe, just not a low battery failsafe.
