Listen, while i would love to bash the tc3, i wont, but to say that the mugen isnt for him and to tell him the tc3 is......is just crap! both cars can run rubbers, the mtx-3 has a front diff case which only requires the gears....the mugen can easily be used to goof around.....I wish i had started with my mtx-2 rather than getting the rs4 and dumping stupid amounts of money in that! if i were you, get a car that you can drive forever......i now drive an mtx-3 and u can either own one, or chase one

this is your post nitrochaos I think it says you dumped alot of money into a rs4 ,and you should take your own advice and buy a car you can drive forever, than you wouldnt of had to buy the rs4,mtx2,mtx3. and I dont own a rs4 I wouldnt mind having one to play around with cause there not a bad car .a good driver can beat up on people driving mtx3's with a rs4 It is mostly driving skills that wins races.oh and by the way my son and I run the HPI proceed.

Hhhmmmm....uuummmmm....HPI

Not sure about that steering servo sticking out so far!!

May get damaged in a side impact....not good for pricey digital servos!!

Looks like a good car...finally something competition-bred from the HPI camp. Looks like a combonation MTX-3, Impulse/705, and a lotta new stuff too. Might just be the car that'll shake things up between Associated/Mugen/Serpent.

Three things really stand out on this car in my observation.............

Twin steering bellcranks!

Rear weight bias. Look at the relation between the tires and the main shaft and the angle of the rear dogbones.

Front CVD's!!

Things are getting interesting........................

interesting indeed. I never really noticed that.

I have to say, (in my defense ) that I can't ever make anything out from computer designed pictures. It is like getting brainwashed or me. The colors blend to make a piece of art (you know, the stuff some people like, while I think it is just numbing to the mind if you look at long enough) and not a car.

I've been kind of wondering how the battery is sitting in there? Is it like MTX3 with a drop out tray, or is it in what I presume to otherwise be a radio box next to the fuel tank? Or is it under the rear brace for the upper front suspension arms (lots of directions huh, up front and rear )? I think that it is most likely under the entire tank (from the bellcranks up to the fuel line pickup which is probably at around chassi level) as you notice the design of the fuel tank around where it would otherwise contact the slide carb as it extended.

New trend? The Team Magic G4 is supposed to have easy access diffs as well.

Nice pics Fastharry, thanks a ton, I'm to lazy right now to go look on the other forum or anywhere else for that matter. (knowing me, I would not find it anyway.)

Shortly, it will be time to wonder, what are the different offerings they will have?

Oh yeah, HPI, wait, I don't need a new car yet. jk.

Hopefully this car doesn't suffer from the nasty HPI hop-up virus that plagued almost all of HPI's previous cars.

How dare you FREEKAH!

An HPI without at least $500 in hopups before it is considered race ready... that's blashpemy!
