I saw some people in my home track, they use very thick double tape foam instead of the screws.

I still use the screws...., and the screw scracth the paint. I'm going to use the foam someday.

Those screws are the same as the ones we use to mount numberplates to real cars.

Also those screws are packaged with the Serpent gurney strips.

Home depot or lowes has almost the same screws in the hardware section, you just have to retap your threads for them to fit.

Should work just fine, though the 909 is better. Trust me.

Well, at least it's cheaper than a Zytec.

I know there's been a lot of talk about the P909 body being very good, but how does it compare to the Shadow, Frisbee, Zytec, or R12? Is one better suited for specific track conditions? And should the rear of these bodies be raised like the P909 is?

Well, If you raise the rear of the Central, it will be higher then the allowed 170mm...
The Zytec, compared to the Central is lower in the rear.
Don't forget that the Central was developped by Christiani, on the Serpent 960, which has the standard option of raising the rear end....

Shadow and Frisbee: Never tried them and no one runs them anymore.

Zytec: Lot's of steering. Good for really fast, sweeping tracks. Yes, raise the rear.

R12: Very stable, a bit pushy at speed. Good on slower tracks. Never tried raising it.

909: A better, more stable Zytec.

Shadow lots of front end off power, to much rear end on power, twitchy. A tank and a half was enuff, I gave it to somebody who ran it and gave it to someone else. End of the day I saw it when I was throwing my trash away.

Frisbee's are for dogs to chase in a park.

Zytec, nice...VERY nice. The first "overall" down force body we get to run. No cow scoop in front, no massive spoiler in the rear. "Lets crank up the deck angle"...!Brilliant! Down side is the handsome reward it fetches.

R-12 Thanks Paul. Good show here. You can feel the front and the rear entering and exiting a corner. Overall it's much more stable than the rest of the "old school" billboard front massive back spoiler gimmicks. Fort style track with ok traction it's money.

909 LET IT EAT KICK AZZ Been mounting it 14mm for short tracks. Always the short front body mounts and cranking up the rear. Long tracks 12mm same mount set up but need some test and tune time with this rear height gimmick. When switching to this body you will notice a loss of of on power steering and brakes. Turn your dual rate up a little bit and pull some epa out of your brakes. Give it an honest 5 minutes and DRIVE the CAR. Go look at your lap times. I have not stopped smiling since I put it on the car.

For those that are not aware; our crusty old Mugen just won the "WORLDS" pre race powered by picco and driven by Alberto picco.
!THANK YOU KOJI SANADA!
