notice how the bottom pivot ball snapped in half and part of it is still in the bottom suspension arm. and on the top suspension arm, the pivot ball is still there.

With such impact, Ti might break, too! But, worth to have in on the car per RClover recommendation.

RClover, did you have ti pillow balls on your MTX-3? I'm curious...

nah...i trust Mugen quality, no Ti pillow balls required at the moment..
but i would love to know how much weight be reduced with Ti pillow balls, my car is under weight right now at 1690grams.

aha! even if you're interested of getting those Ti pillow balls, Mugen is not the brand you should aim for. I'll let you know which one when you're ready for it.

this is the first time something like that has broekn on my ntc3. I try not to hit the rails and corners, but i was in the A main with the big boys and i was trying to keep up. I hit the corner at about 3/4 throttle so i'm not surprised it broke. the car took a beating all day with me hitting the rails. i hit one corner head on going pretty fast and the only thing that happened was the motor stalled. But i think that was because the impact somehow stopped the flywheel. thank god for RPM front bumpers . I did put Ti in the wheel, but my lhs only had two left so now i gotta find more for the rest of the car. the ntc3 is a pretty tough car, i dont care what people say about it.
