If you are looking for a file that looks like the cutting face of this..... I think they are available at Home Depot or Lowes (hardware store).

I think that is MICO Racing Enterprises, but I'm not sure.. However, I am sure he was at the Great Lakes Challenge, a buddy of mine picked one up along with his Front Sway Bar tool (double pronged to ensure both sides move together).

Don't know how to contact him though, good luck, he has great stuff.

Here you go, I searched within RC Tech for Mico and Bob Malphurs has posted his information in another tire trueing thread

The best tire truing sticks are made by Mike Saputo...Mico Racing Enterprises!
He makes two grades, fine and coarse carbide.

I have the Mico rasp and is the best of the best, maybe is a little expensive, but you can bet that's the last rasp you will buy.

If you don't find it normally, you can try on the art shops for stone rasps who are the same (structured tooth carbide files). But the best is the Mico one, scarce to find, but... found it on Border R/C shop.

Alfonso, remember the 2004 Winternats? I bought one of those golden carbide cutters for my lathe and also one of those golden files and the still work like new.
Btw, I have the automatic Ofna truer (same as Corally) which is more than 10years old and it never let me down.

Btw, have you been to the Euros yet?b

Yep... more than 650 shots on the queue to process, this evening I'll start sending you some photos .

Talked a little with Reto yesterday, he was quite busy reassembling their MTX4 and wasn't the best time to bother him and do a chit-chat session.

We told you....

That's the first and last tyre file you will need to buy unless someone likes it more than you and... need to buy another because the file got legs and leaved you to see another views than your toolbox

You guys are right this is the file you are looking for. Mike is the guy to buy it from. All the guys that race around here have these. Mike has been racing the HOA series that runs at my track and most of the guys around here have bought them directly from him. I suppose that it would be a bit cheaper to get it direct from him than through murdock. Personally I wouldn't buy anything from murdock myself.

Stanley use to make them for sure-forms (it is a kind of gray handled sander that they make) but I have not seen them in a couple of years. Not sure if they make them anymore. I use to have one of the Stanley ones but someone liked it better then me.
