Just an overall awesome car.. The handlings great, very stable yet has great turning ability & the best part is it has a big 'sweet spot' for tuning.. so u can't go wrong with it.

Where I live nobody carry Serpent. But if I have to get one it would be on Ebay for around $600, which would cost about abit more then a thousand to get it run. It a very good car and you need very good engien, radio, and etc for the car.

Hmm 950! :-)

I was watching the cream of European 1/8th racing today at my local circuit - boy-oh-boy are these boys good!!!!

Its the German Grand-Prix in Bamberg this weekend and attending are serpent team drivers Michael Salven, Ilia van Gastel, Oliver Mack and others.

Michael and Ilia stood out for me simply from a driving style point of view (and certainly seemed to be amongst the quickest according to my own lap timing).
Michael was very smooth and seemed to pick out some lines on the circuit which no one else had seem to have spotted.
Ilia on the other hand was amazing to watch - the car was right on the limit and in an almost constant state of 4-wheel-drift.
Comparing these guys to other guys I've seen racing is like chalk and cheese!!!

Today was the qualifying/practice for tomorrows race.

Looking in the pits, there are almost only 950s in this championship!!!

During assembly of the brake, there is basically no free play between the brake pad and the brake disc (original).

It causes some draging on the rear.

Has anybody encounter the same problem?
