Default clutch and 2nd speed adjustment g4s

Hi can anyone tell me how much adjustment should be made to the clutch spring when adjusting the round nut on the ufo clutch with black spring and also on the 2nd speed screws when adjusting when getting the 2nd speed to kick in earlier 1/4 turn 1/2 turn??? this is on a g4s. thanks alot

There is no way we can tell how many turn you need to set 2sp clutch ...........

You need a friend to set it while you are driving it. Unless you want to do it solo....... very tiring up and down driver stand.

Bud when adjusting dont make adjustments of more than 1/4 turn at a time.
For the 2 speed a good starting point is to have the screw heads just below the lip of the hole and not sure if you done this but check that the 2 screws are not on the verge of coming out the other side.We usually shorten the screws by a mm or two.Also put loctite on the grub screws that adjust teh play on the 2 speed cam.

oh sorry I meant 1/4 turn or 1/2 turn at a time not just once thanks for the info I will play with it and see how it goes.

i would only turn 1/4 at a time , till you get desired shift point...i adjust mine out of the housing not thru the hole , i like to see the adjustment screw's..it's a slower time adjusting but i don't get in a hurry...
