Default TM's new 1/10 set-up system

has anyone tried using this set-up system?

http://www.teamtrinity.com/team_magi...up-system.html

i find it good for travel as it's compact and comes with a bag.
appreciate any feedbacks

Yeah, its been out ages now..

I've used one..and I wouldn't reccomend it...thats just my opinion... because simply it doesn't compare to Hudy! But each to there own, but Hudy is "simply the best".

for ages, i've only seen hudy set-up systems in most of the lhs near me.
then i saw this one just a couple of weeks ago, actually it was marked/packaged H.A.R.D. but obviously they're the same as TMs and thought it was a new release. i know this is supposedly an upgrade on TM's previous set-up system- but concept-wise on set-up system mechanism, its different from hudy's set-up system design as readings on camber are on top with roller/bearings on base rolling on the flat board.
if the readings are consistent and accurate like hudy's, then i'd say this one ain't bad either as it comes cheaper and as accurate.

No tweak station, gauges, aluminum case or set up manual. It is similar to the $149 Hudy set with the camber gauges. It's not a full set up station. Not to diss it but it's not the same as the full blown $325 Hudy set

here's what feel........with the slop that is present on ALL rc cars, unless you are out of the ball park, and way un equal on each side, things like camber, caster, toe in, etc, can't be perfect,no matter what you are using(though the HUDY is accurate),and it doesn't great affect the car as much as you think.......BUT,setting tweak, can be a VERY fine adjustment, and can make a BIG difference..and the hudy tweak station, unlike the balance bar types, doesn't need to be balanced first or be on a perfecty level table.....which make's it a MUST HAVE for a worktable in a pit area in the middle of nowhere racing,USA....

I have the standard hudy set ups(which I will sell you cheap if you want)......

the tweak station makes the other one(which I do have) invaluable....

actually hudy and the TM gauges are just about the same, both have full ball bearings, they are precisely cut and maesured, and both are aluminum.

I have tried HUDY and TM and both are pretty much identical.

unless you want to spend $400 on the tweak station and full setup system I would pick up either a TM or hudy doesnt matter, and the hudy ride height and droop gauges since TM doesnt make any.

the HUDY set up is 279 online at alot of places......spend 150 for the TM,buy all the guages and an MIP tweak station........you'll end up paying over 200.....and still have a system that is not half as good as the HUDY.......(see the info on the HUDY tweak station)......

not to mention you also get the set up board with the hudy......

I did not have the full $300 hudy system. I just had the aluminum gauges. I sold the Hudy stuff when I got the TM gauges. They are good.

dude for 1/10th nitro u do not need the entire tweak station, the setup gauges for toe and camber, and the droop and ride height do fine, and the TM setup gauges and Hudy setup gauges for toe and camber are nearly identical
