demand and supply theory says that demand high supply is high. If price is low, the demand is high. In the perfect competition market, supplier is a price taker not a price maker. that's look at computer stuffs. Come on, do you think that computer company can monopolize the market ? All the computer buyer will go the other seller when they is slight changes in price. Do you know about elasticity curve of a product ? I am a finance grad. Everybody knows that the best way to stimulize the market and make it more efficient is : PERFECT COMPETITION. Do you know that anti-competitive behavior breaches comsumers law ? If want to talk further it will be pages of paper .

To continue this talk is futile

No demand for 1/8 scale RTR hence no supply, have you seen ANY 1/8 RTR on the tracks ??

From the internet, In USA, it seems that power racing XR80 is a hit. Quality wise or any callbacks I am not sure.

Whether if it's a fix or strategy I cant tell as I am not into the business.

Poor quality? do you expect the RTRs to perform up to the pro kit mark? RTR would always be compromised in terms of quality in comparison to Pro kits, dont you agree?

Different market has different ciriteria, it is a hit in the US doesnt mean it would be in Malaysia.

I think this discussion has strayed from it's original topic.

Thumbs up

brc358,

Thanks for the reply, I saved your information and will use that as my first set-up. I am looking forward to racing the car as it is my first 1:8 on-road. The price was great and the kit was put together and packaged very nice. Was very happy to hear the car is competitive.

sorry for bring back this old thread, but
is there any new information about PT1 or Edam?
Since this year i have a Edam Razor, and out of the Box i like the Car. Only one small Problem i have... a little less grip on front. But, step by step i get a better setup.
At german masters in 2009 (Class 2), there were 2 Razor on Jump to final, but one was stoped by Gear-Problems (It was complete gearbox from Mugen, haha) and the other one came over half-final in A-final. However, against good drivers as Maxi Vogl and Maxi Federmann, he had no chance.
Can anybody tell me the difference between PT1 with OS2-rims and the older version?
thanks a lot
LM

Lechti,
Try using a softer compound tire up front. I used this set up at the Capitol Classic and had more than enough steering for me. Hope this helps.
