Default Spectrum

I have this happened on me before using the US spectrum system. Usually when this happens the receiver has gone bad if you have the servo replaced. May be something gone bad on the circuitory or the contact is no good. I will not let this to be the reason for crashing the car (usually at 100% thorttle), jsut change the receiver. Becuase the module seldom goes bad and it is does, you are run out of luck

the glitch like this:

open throttle in transmitter -> did not open

close throttle in transmitter -> did not close.

so i changed throttle servo.. if throttle servo was badness..

But.. the throttle glitch was also happened..

my car is G4S... and my friends(who drive NT1 and sanwa Spektrum)

experienced the same throttle glitch..

anyone who experienced same case?

i checked my NIMH battery Volt after big crash in yesterday..

the battery volt was 6.2V.

when battery volt was under 6.0V, maybe my throttle servo was stopped.

i tested US Specktrum in long time ago.

heavy servo activity(about 30-40 secs).. i could see steering servo did bad working.

so i can quess this..

when battery is under 6VOLT.

1. US specktrum: steering servo do bad working.(random work)

2. sanwa(airtronic) specktrum: stopped Throttle servo activity.

does anyone know how soon will airtronics have the m11 radio set already with their new spectrum TX/RX???
kinda looks like they need to market this combo. if its in the making, do you guys have a ballpark figure of the combo cost?
radio upgrade is at the top of my list for rcxpenditures and as of right now, i wouldn't wanna get an m11 with the fm pack and invest again on the spectrum module and just ditch the fm pack that came with the original package.

The M11 with the 2.4 DSS system is already available. It's been out for over a week now. Check with your local Airtronics dealer as they should have it, or at least have it on order.

...or you can check mail order places like Tower or Hobby People. This is the link for Hobby People...

I picked up a M11 DSS from my LHS a week or so ago. I would have to say that I feel no "lag" in response whatsoever with the DSS (after a weekend of running on the DSS). It doesn't feel any different to me compared to my ole KO's & crystals. So far, it's been great -- and no glitching either.

Have not found any cases yet and I'm in England but this is the reply I had from Airtronics so the more people that let them know the problem the better

"I'm sorry they were unable to help you. We do not currently have the cases in stock, and we do not presently have an expected arrival date. They could arrive in a couple weeks or a couple months. I spoke with our R&D guy that handles Airtronics equipment, and he said that it's the first he has heard of it. We will keep an eye out for a recurring problem and let Sanwa (the manufacturer) know.

Found out from Sanwa website that they came out 2.4G module with this no. TM-222DS (Transmitter) and RX-442DS (Receiver). Anyone here know what is the different between TM-221DS (Transmitter) and RX-441DS (Receiver) Black in colour.
sanwa 2.4G
