I understand the hassle of removing the module in order to fit it to a radio case. However, it's just a small inconvenience compared to the rewards.

As for the antenna in the back, it took me a little while to get used to it and not have to extend an antenna out of the top of the radio. However, now that I'm used to just turning on and driving, it's nice to not have anything flying in front of my face (like an antenna) that would distract me from my view of my car on the track!

So, on the one hand, you have an extra step in removing the module from the transmitter when putting it away in a case. On the other hand, you have one less step in extending the antenna. Hmm... seems like the negatives cancel each other out!

I still pull my antenna up just because I like the balance.

But... Sanwa receiver Case(421) is too weak!!!

my Sanwa receiver Case(engaged teeth) was already broken by viration

you must reinforce receiver case when use sanwa spektrum.

Yes i'm very happy with mine but as you say the receivers are a little fragile. I have manged to break the lugs off one the hold it together by pulling out a tight servo plug when the receiver was servo taped in !!!!!

Any idea where to get a replacement case?

Might try the number below for parts. They ship quickly and prices are very reasonable.

Explain the problem and they may send one for free!

What are you trying to "relocate"? The wire for the 2.4 antenna? That's going to be a little hard as the wire plugs into a small clip on the pc board. Not really sure if the circuit goes to another part of the board though.

Wondering if we can relocate the antenna like we do with the Spektrum. I don't want the antenna hanging out the side.

Not sure on the software bit but it will not work with Spektrum receivers

Ed-

You might be able to move the antenna over. I can't recall how much antenna is really inside the case, but you might have enough to move it around for where you want to mount it. However, be advised that it will void the warranty.

Default Case Breaking

Anyone else find the reciever case is very fragile? I broke 2 today. The bottom part just appears to break the lugs off and the case falls apart. But I have a freind with the same reciever in 40Mhz an he has had no problem. So is it just the 2.4Ghz ones? And it appears you can not buy new cases

i got some glitch after changing sanwa specktrum.

the glitch was happened only throttle servo.

and the glitch is not happen frequently... about one time per 2 days run?

the glitch like this:

open throttle in transmitter -> did not open

close throttle in transmitter -> did not close.

so i changed throttle servo.. if throttle servo was badness..

But.. the throttle glitch was also happened..

my car is G4S... and my friends(who drive NT1 and sanwa Spektrum)

experienced the same throttle glitch..

anyone who experienced same case?
