The lead acid batteries are to big to fit inside of the Mugen boxes and the 12V would be to high of voltage for the two motors in the Mugen box.[/QUOTE]

The Muigen box uses 2 stick packs in series so it's nominally 14.4 volts as the motors are also in series.

To be quite honest I prefer the stick packs because at least you can charge them at the track and the deman on the packs is quite low.

The mugen box only fit's stick packs though. I guess the silver can 540 motors could be seen as an advantage as well as they are easily replaced.

Sorry, as many times that I have seen them I never noticed that they where in series.

the mugen is prob the best as it is small and the piece you get with the mtx4 kit makes it align perfectly.

I bought two cheapo 4500 stick packs for it

I do prefer a big direct drive for break-in as sometimes the mugen will have issues with the tightness, made my motors smoke trying to start my new os

That's what I suspected when you said WCE cells I guess you could make something up to tape them in.

You trying to push the Team Magic box for his Mugen
Shame on you Menace!!
I actually run the X5 box with my Mtx4 (still have one since the G4 days)
It's a good bit of gear but i think that the wheel in it is a little thin and are prone to wear out faster ( I'm on my 2nd starter wheel)

Sorry

Well maybe the new H.A.R.D box would be better then? Not out yet though.
