Thrashing, if that. For thrashing I would recommend the Traxxas 4Tec. If you're even considering going to a track, the minimum would be the Team Magic G4S RTR, if you're trying to save a buck or two.

Track only cars (in not particular order):
Mugen MTX-4R
Kyosho RRR WC
Team Magic G4S
X-Ray NT1
Serpent 720

That was going to be the next suggestions. Find out what is readily available from a parts standpoint and push that to the top of your list.

Default CT4R

Hi Josh!

around 4-5 months ago.. i got myself a CT4R, problem is.... i forgot to bring it home! so it sat on a different country for like 5 months..

due to that long wait.. i got myself a 720 (which i vry much like..)

A week ago.. i just got my CT4R.. to this date.. its still on a box.. planning to build it soon.. but i am SOOOOOO into the 720..

anyways, i am trying rekindle my CT4R urge.. hehehehe

any building tips?

you are run'n what engine on your CT4R?

Regards,
Wilson

I race for STS Micro Engines and RB Mods so the motor I run is the D3R Rb Modded. Build tips!! I would trash all the philips head screws and replace them with regular cap heads. also I got rid of the stock steering rod ends and went with ball cups! I wouldnt recomend the ball cups to the pop off to easy. and the center ling on the steering you want to put a new link with ball cups or captured ballends it makes the steering much better. Run the oneway in the front and the diff in the rear. As for shock oil etc I'm not sure as I'm prototyping some new stuff. You should see more of cen onroad in the months to come. Hope this gets you going on your ct4r.

Default Ct5

Yup the engine revs great i roll it by hand a few 1nches forward and back it free rolls for about 6 or 7 inches then it locks up, im thinking maybe the clutch needs to be adjusted or something, when it sits for a while 5 to 6 mins. i start it then give it gas and it go on its own for about 4 or 5 " then stops again but the engine still running, i've tried leaning it and ritchening it so its not that
