The freezer trick is a roll of the dice. Sometimes the pipe runs just like it did before, and sometimes it doesn't. If the engine performance is being compromised right now, you have nothing to lose.

The freezer trick worked great for me on an RD Logics pipe with the stinger stiffener. Only thing if the dents are big like the one looks nearest the stinger you might have to do it twice. I put mine in at bedtime and took it out the next morning before work and did it again to get it real straight.

Default Dented pipe.

Yo Gatermaxx, i have the pressure nipple and the stinger plugged, but dont know what use for the hole for the header part of the pipe, and if so how do i contain these ports so that the milk , or water doesnt push them out once freezing process starts to work, was thinking about zipp ties...

how does the freezing expand the pipe?

it doesnt make sense. heat makes things expand, cold contracts

so what makes this prosses work?

and does it make the pipe look like new if done right?

You ever see what happens when you put that water bottle filled with water into the freezer ? It expands by about 10-15% larger than its original size. I put afew bottles of water to use them as ice packs for my ice chest filled with drinks. If you want to read about the explination and science of why water expands, do a google search for " ice expansion ".

Hey Pete whats up? I though you would recommend a new pipe instead of fixing it.

Depending on the dent, if your lucky, it'll look like the dent wasn't even there. There are times when the dent comes out with a few blimishes. And, sometimes, there are times when the dent doesn't even un-dent itself just because of the location of the dent. Here's a dent that may be beyond repair. This is Andrew Ellis' car back at the 2004 1/8th scale nationals.
